She was the epitome of elegance. It was present in her walk, in her stance, in her manners. You saw it as soon as she entered a room. As a family, we were blessed to be loved by such a beautiful lady and I hope that she knew how very much she was loved in return. She'll always be my "Girl".

In life, you get to choose friends, but not family. I am blessed that God chose me to have an aunt as special as your mother. She will forever hold a special place in my heart and my memories for the beautiful, strong, classy woman she was. They (the Chustz-Ricard siblings) were the ideal role models for us. They truly were the village that raised us together and for that I am eternally grateful. Love you always.

Thinking of your family. What a gift Mrs. Darensbourg was. I was one of the few kids at SFX that didn't get to have her only because I enrolled in Kindergarten and not Pre-K. Her legend will live on in her students, her legacy in her family. God bless you all.

She will always occupy a space in my heart and memory as my Other Mother, my Bettina (I I would get a shoe for that). She gave me gifts beyond measure and loved me despite my faults.
