Miss Williams as I called her taught me choral music at Crescent in the 70's. I still know many of the songs she taught us. That is a testament to the impact and inspiration that came from this great lady! May she rest in peace. She was so wonderful.

Sitting here at work looking at your obituary thinking back to when our paths first crossed. It was 1989 at Crescent Elem and Junior High I was a new student. You wasn't my teacher at the time, but we connected immediately. The next year you became my teacher and I have been your favorite student since that day. Marcus can vouch for that. You became my other mother as you so affectionately put it, even Marcus when talking to me, about you would say "your other momma" Ms. Williams you were 1 of a kind, you open your heart to many of us and always poured love into us. You definitely lived your purpose. Thank you for being kind and patient with me for 30 years, and for helping mold me into who I am today. I never wanted to let you down.
