Graciela "Chela" Rodriguez Callenius, a native of Los Ramones, Mexico and a resident of Slaughter, LA passed away on November 30, 2018. She is survived by her daughter Gladys Pearson and her husband Wayne Pearson; Granddaughter, Macie Rivere and her husband Blaze Rivere; two great-grandchildren, Blakely and Kyler Rivere; as well as numerous other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, William Callenius of Louisiana, and her parents Lorenzo and Victoriana Rodriguez of Mexico. The family would like to thank the staff at Our Lady of the Lake Baton Rouge and The Crossing at Clarity Hospice Baton Rouge. A Graveside service will be held Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 2:00 PM in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Clinton, LA. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Zion Lutheran Church in Clinton, LA via P.O. Box 171, Clinton, LA 70722. Arrangements in the care of McLin & Manley funeral home. Condolences to Gladys And her family. We are so sorry to hear of Chela's passing. We will not be able to attend the funeral because of health problems. We will keep all of you in our prayers.
