Steven John Jones, 52, "Steve", a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, and a native of Hobbsville, NC, died on Monday, February 10, 2020. There will be a visitation at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary, LA on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 9 a.m. until memorial services at 11 a.m., conducted by David Gainous. He is survived by his daughter, Jordan Crain Jones of Zachary, LA that he shared with his previous wife, Donielle Crain Gainous, his parents, Jack and Loretta Jones of Hobbsville, NC, brother Walt Jones and his wife Cherise Jones of Greensboro, NC and their daughter Claire Jones. He was extraordinarily talented in woodworking of all types. He enjoyed coordinating and building sets in the movie industry. "He enjoyed fishing, hunting and taking Jordan for ice cream. The family wishes to express a special appreciation to Pat and Betty Crain of Ethel, LA and David Gainous that cared for Steve several months last year as he recovered from an illness. Additionally they wish to thank his close friends and other loved ones that were not listed separately due to time restraints.
