John Bevil Obituary

John Melvin Bevil, Sr., a native of Loranger, LA and a resident of Gramercy, LA passed away on February 9th, 2020 at the age of 83. He is survived by sons, John M. Bevil, Jr and wife Marylyn, Scott S. Traylor and wife Cindy; Daughter, Janice C. Bevil. John is also survived by his grandchildren, Skyler Deroche Robert (Tycer), Sean Bevil, Matthew Bevil, Stephanie Genoway (Steve), Chance Hebert (Brittany), Jaimee Traylor; great-grandchildren, Sophia Genoway and Bentley Schild and Sarah and Dalton Hebert. Special family friends, Karen, Paul and Chad Remondet, Tina (Royce) Zeringue and Ashley, Joyce A. Stone and Tootie Bailey. John was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon T. Bevil; son, Barry T. Bevil; parents, John and May Bevil and one infant brother, Eugene Bevil. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 15th, 2020 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am and burial will be at a later date. Rose Lynn Funeral Services has the honor of handling the funeral services.
