A native and resident of Convent, Thaddeus passed away at 11:59 p.m., Monday, December 24, 2018 in Lutcher. He was 20. Visiting on Saturday, January 12 at First Pilgrim Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 11453 Highway 73, Geismar, from 9:30 a.m. until religious services at 11:00 a.m. Only, Rev. Irvin Briley, Pastor, Rev. Gaynel Nichols of St. James United Methodist Church, Officiating. Interment in St. James Methodist Church Cemetery in Convent. Survived by his mother, Lashana Jones. Father, Thaddeus Watis, Sr.. His sisters: Jakoya Jones, Akira Jones and Ry'An Scott. His brothers: Jaonte Jones, Tahryn Jones, Deondre Watis, Draymond Morris, Deqjuan Ester, Disean Ester, Tyrus Watis, Jordan Watis and Caiden Watis. His maternal grandmother, Linda Jones. His paternal grandmother, Carrie Watis, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
