Walker Young Forbes, Jr., a native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away at his home on December 18, 2016 at the age of 70. He was a graduate of Istrouma High School and LSU. He also served in the United States Air Force, and was retired from Exxon Mobil. He is survived by his wife, Marion Hogan Forbes; daughter, Cristin Forbes Ponjuan and husband Jorge; son, Clayton Young Forbes and wife Erin; grandchildren, Noah, Hayden, and Dawson Ponjuan, and Elliot Forbes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walker Y. and Idell M. Forbes; brother, Jimmy W. Forbes; sister, JoAnn Forbes Branscum. Visitation will be Friday, December 30, 2016 at Broadmoor Presbyterian Church, 9340 Florida Blvd, from 10:00 a.m. until a Memorial Service at 11:00, officiated by Judy Gabel Roeling. The family would like to thank Hospice of Baton Rouge. Rabenhorst Funeral Home East is in charge of the arrangements.
