"My mind knows you are in a better place, where there is no pain. You are at peace. I understand that, I just wish I could explain that to my heart." Lorna Rae Montgomery Gentile, 83, passed away Monday, May 13, 2019 as a result of injuries she sustained from an automobile accident. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She enjoyed singing in the church choir, traveling and chatting with strangers, and living life to the fullest. She leaves behind to cherish her memories two nieces, Karen LeBlanc and husband Steve Green, Laurie Moorhead and husband Ben; two nephews, Robert Myers and wife Jeanie, John Sims and wife Renee; nine grandnieces and grandnephews, Johnny, Jenny, Joey, Jacob, Sophie, Katie, Blake, Jeffery and Kenneth. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, in Denham Springs on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 10am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Mulhearn Memorial Park, in Monroe at 12pm. She was preceded in death by her husband John, and her two sisters Alice and Beth. So very sorry to learn of Ms. Lorna's passing...she will be missed. I know she enjoyed her travels; that's where I had the privilege of knowing her. She will be at peace with her Lord.

Ms. Lorna -
I am heartbroken. The kids and I are truly going to miss you around the house and your friendly wave and beautiful smile as we go out to school and work. Heaven has gained an angel. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
