Jeannette and Family,
It hardly seems possible that it has been a year since Doug passed. I can't imagine how much y'all miss him and are still hurting. I still miss him, not only seeing and hearing him, but just knowing he was there for all of us! He truly was a wonderful man, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, generous to a fault to his family, friends and neighbors. He will remain forever loved by all who were blessed to have known him and to have had him in our lives! May God continue to give you comfort, strength and peace!

Doug, I will miss our visits over the fence! You always had such good advice and we shared so many of the same opinions! I also will miss hearing you call your beloved Sammy! It took awhile before I realized that from a distance that when it sounded like you were calling for help, you were actually calling Sammy! Rest in peace, my dear neighbor! And rest assured we will do our part to "look out" for your family and homestead!
