Willena Lewis Obituary

Willena "Sissy" Decker Lewis, 76 years old, beloved sister, and friend to so many, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 6, 2018. She entered this world on July 26, 1941, in Hickman, KY, born to Basil and Annie Decker. She graduated from Redemptorist High School in 1959. Sissy was a retired bookkeeper of TG&Y in Baker, LA. Sissy is survived by her sister, Shirley Decker Gaspard; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sissy is preceded in death by her husband, Robert W Lewis; parents, Basil and Annie Decker; three brothers, Edward Decker, Gus Decker and Basil Decker, Jr.; and godchild, Jerry Gaspard. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 5657 Thomas Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70811, Saturday, March 10, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. until the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Deacon Shelley Joseph will officiate the service. The burial will follow on a later date in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. The online guestbook may be signed by visiting www.bakerfuneralhomeonline.com.
