Lawrence Kinchen Sr. went to be with God on Thursday, December 29, 2016 peacefully from his home. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 56 years, Beatrice Kinchen, five daughters: Nancy Kinchen, Cherylin Kinchen, Terri Landry, Basheba Kinchen, and Lisa Kinchen; two sons: Lawrence Kinchen Jr. and Darryl Kinchen; two brothers: Savior (Aline) Beauchamp and Sameroi (Ivory) Kinchen; two sisters: Elzenia Lomas and Elizabeth Jones; 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and four of his siblings: Oliver Sterling, Edgar Beauchamp, Donald Kinchen, and Ethel Lee Kinchen.
