To My Brother Nelson,
Words cannot express how I feel. You was more than a brother to me you was my best friend. You maybe gone from my view, but I can still feel you near me. I will miss our times together, the secrets we shared between us, and even the crazy way you had in telling your jokes, that made us laugh till we cried. You have touched many lives in your short life time. People you have known and even strangers have been blessed because of you. The good Lord called you home. I needed you, but the Lord needed you more. My dear brother, may you rest in peace with the Lord. Your work here on earth is done.
With Love,
Your Lil Sis

To the Carey Family,
May the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guide your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
I was shocked and saddened to read the obituary of my Blundon Home, little brother in Christ, Nelson Carey's passing...more so because the facts of his career in the obituary told the story of an outstanding veteran who served his country with distinction. My deepest condolences for your loss and respect and gratitude for your loved one's service to our country.
I want to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. To my other Blundon Home brother in Christ, Melvin Carey, and my Blundon Home sisters in Christ, Melvina, Idella and Cordelia, although the years have come and gone,I remember all of you fondly. God be with you until we meet again. And if I can be of help to the Carey family in any way, please call on me.I can be reached at 703-587-5496.
