Gidget and Donovan,

How we will miss him. He was such a great husband and dad. He may have been my baby brother, but he grew up to be my " Hero. " I will be forever thankful to the Lord for allowing me to have so much time with him these past 18 months. We must make time for those we love regardless of distance. I had to learn this the hard way.

When Kathie Lou was sick I realized, I had let things that didn't matter keep me from being more involved in her life. We love our family and yet we don't make time. We get so busy with life .... we allow life to pass us by the things that mean the most. This is what my sweet Kathie Lou taught me in her death. I don't know if there will come a day when I don't think of her at least once. She and her dad fought the fight of faith!

" I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. Finally there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteousness Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but to all who have loved His appearing." 2nd Timothy 4:7 NKJV

I, Sharon will never forget when I first came down here to Louisiana in 1971 and met Gidget and Ronnie and the entire McIntyre family. What a treasure. Ronnie had always been a part of Bubba's life and will be remembered for his humor that he gave, but most of all for the love that he had for you, Gidget and for his children. He will be missed. Our prayers are with you Gidget in this time of grief and great loss and to his son, Donovan and also to Kathy Smith who loved her little brother.

To the MCINTYRE family,

And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died, so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him believers who have died. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 NLT.

Our salvation does not depend on what we did on this earth, but what Jesus did for us on the cross.

For a little while longer, we will be reunited with our loved ones who have gone on before us in heaven.

What a day of rejoicing that will be!!!

Uncle Ronnie was a very caring man who loved his wife and children so much. He has been through many trials in this life. I am comforted by the thought that now he has peace in his soul. He is sitting on the back porch of heaven with MawMaw Mac and Kathryn feeding the chickens.
