Carol Grace Smith, age 77, a native of New Orleans and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on July 10, 2018. Carol was the life of the party and treasured her family and friends dearly. She captured everyone by her beautiful smile and sparkle in her eyes. She was member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the pillar of her entire family throughout her life. Carol is survived by husband Peyton Smith of 59 years of marriage, daughter, Danna Smith, Stephanie Lindsly and husband Randy Lindsly; grandchildren, Casie Lindsly and Trey Sellers, Jordan and Alicia Lindsly; sister, Diane Dantoni Breaux; brother, Roy Riedlinger, Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by father and mother Roy Riedlinger, Sr. and Marie Yenni Dantoni; sister, Lynn Digirolamo; nephew, Joseph Digirolamo; and nieces, Hollie and Kerri Riedlinger. Visiting hours will take place at St. Patrick Catholic Church Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 9am until Mass Christian burial 11am. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Leukemia Research Foundation,191 Waukegan Road, Suite 105, Northfield, IL 60093 in Carol Smith name. My deepest sympathy to your family and all who knew Ms Carol. Because anyone who knew her most certainly loved her. Her sweet smile would light up our day every time she entered the room. I am blessed and grateful to have known her.
