Evelyn Pauline Fernandez, a native of Zwolle, LA and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on December 3, 2018 at 3:53 PM at the age of 78. Pauline was born on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1939. She was a loving wife and mother of two. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry James Wethey and Ethyl Martinez Wethey; and her brother, Joe Wethey. Pauline is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gerald "Jerry" Fernandez; her son, Matthew A. Fernandez and his wife Lori; her daughter, Melissa Fernandez as well as her two grandchildren, Grayson Howell and Ashlynn Howell. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Eldres Wethey and his wife Vestal, Arnold Wethey and his wife Debra, Freddy Wethey, Doris Rivers and many, many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday December 6, 2018 from 5 pm-8 pm. Funeral services will be held on December 7, 2018 at St Jean Vianney Catholic Church with visitation from 10 am to 11:00 am and Mass beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
