Laura, I so loved your Mother. Each time I visited her we had such a happy time. When we moved to Denham she visited us and brought me a Sweet Olive bush. Deloy planted it just outside my screened porch. Every time I glance at the bush, which is as high as my roof now, I smile and think of Gay. I will always cherish our swimming times together. I love you, Ms Ann

Dear Mr. Richard, Laura and Keith, and family,

Ann and I treasure many beloved memories of your sweet mother and wife... whether it was your wedding , times by the pool or Gay playfully sticking her tongue out at me as she came home from LSU and I came home from a hospital visit. In countless ways the Sutton family has blessed me. If my presence would be a comforting blessing to yo I would like to come by the funeral home. If you would be more comfortable with my not coming I will respect that. You can let me know what would be best for you all by emailing me at [email protected] or you can text me at(225) 933-8274. If I do not hear from you I will presume you did not see this and I will come by and let you all show what is best for you. Regardless, may God comfort you in HIS gentle hands. In Christ, Terry & Ann

I have many memories of Gay in the decades we both were in the LSU Dept of Physics & Astronomy, her friendliness, smile and laughter, and her good cheer. She usually beat me to the shaded parking spot under the big tree by our dept.
My sympathies with the whole family. Ravi

Mrs. Gay would dress up as Mrs. Santa and do our secret Santa every year for our Christmas Party. She had such great taste her decorations were beautiful every year. We missed her when she retired because it has never been the same. I miss here smile and her laugh. She will be greatly missed. I pray comfort, peace, and strength for her family in this time of loss.
