Geraldine Albarado Landry, native of Brusly St. Martin and resident of Pierre Part, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at her home at the age of 61. She was loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her adoring husband of 46 years, Ernest Landry, Sr.; daughters, Katina Michel and husband John and Lyndsi Jarreau and husband Bobby; son, Ernest Landry Jr. and wife Kim; sister, Lisa Sparks and husband Daniel; 6 grandchildren, Chandler, Conner, and Caroline Landry, Peyton Michel, Brayden Jarreau, and Alexis Gaudet; nieces, Tessa Flory, Dayna Holden, Twyla Broussard, Renee Collingswood and Carol Krumholt; and numerous other nieces and nephews. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Ivey and Agnes Sanchez Albarado; sister and brother in law, Velma and John King; brother and sister in law, Harris Sr. and Paulette Albarado; 2 nephews, Howard King and Harris Albarado, Jr; father and mother in law, Camille and Louise Landry; brothers in law, Jesse and Gilbert Landry; and a god-child, Connie Landry. Visitation will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part beginning on Friday, July 13 at 7 pm until Saturday, July 14 at 10:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church at 11 am on Saturday. Entombment to follow in Sacred Heart Mausoleum, Belle River. Pallbearers will be Chandler Landry, Conner Landry, Wesley Albares, Brandon Hebert, Jessie Landry Jr., Daniel Sparks, and Jerry Landry Jr. Peyton Michel and Bobby Jarreau will serve as honorary pallbearers.
