Joan was such a beautiful, kind, smart, funny, lovely woman. I will always cherish the time I was able to spend with her in Miami at the antique expo. She took me all around for two days straight, met my parents and we all shared a great meal together. It seemed like she and my mom had known each other for years. We all immediately felt connected to Joan's warmth, wit and authenticity. I suspect your mom had that affect on everyone she met! My love and condolences to you, Porter and Melissa and the rest of your family. God bless Joan Casanono Pickard. She is home. ❤
