John Tyrone Broadway, born February 19, 1935 in Clinton, LA, was a respected family man and a faithful church member. He served his country in the US Navy, retired after a 30-year career at DSM Copolymer in Baton Rouge, and he was an avid sports fan. He died on January 5, 2019, leaving four children, two stepchildren, and a host of other loved ones to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Rosetta, one daughter, several uncles, and an aunt. Services will be held at his church home, Gloryland Baptist Church on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 11:00 am with visitation starting at 9:00 am. Interment will follow at Port Hudson National Cemetery.

He was a great neighbor and we truly miss him,especially doing the holidays he would come looking for his sweet potato pie.
