Josie Francois entered into eternal rest at Baton Rouge Heritage House II on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Visitation at Greater Mount Carmel B.C. of Scotlandville, Rev. Clee Lowe, pastor on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 11:00 am until service at 1:00 pm conducted by Rev. Jon Bennett; interment at Louisiana National Cemetery. Survivors include her loving son, Irvin Francois; sisters, Gloria Millican, Charlotte, North Carolina; Rosa L. Franklin, Gracie F. Perkins, Elaine F. Goodwill and Ventress F. Cofer (Craig) all of Baton Rouge; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends; preceded in death by husband, Rev. Alvin Francois; parents, Henry and Adell Franklin; siblings, Ethel Johnson, Otha Franklin and Henry Franklin Jr.; sister-in-law, Juanita Franklin; brothers-in-law, Frank Millican and Levy Johnson. Arrangements by Miller & Daughter Mortuary.

Our condolences to the Francois and Franklin Families for the loss of our dear family member, Josie. We will miss her, but feel she is happily joined with her soulmate, Alvin. Here on Earth they were a team, now they can be together again. May they Rest In Peace! Our prayers are with all family members as we make adjustments! God bless us all!
