Lorraine Arbour Talbot, aged 95, died peacefully on May 13, 2019. She was born November 7, 1923, in Baton Rouge and on March 5, 1946, married the love of her life Kinnery Anthony Talbot. She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Kinnery Talbot, her parents Heude V. Arbour, Sr. and Cecilia Mouch Arbour, and brother, Heude V. Arbour, Jr. Lorraine was a loving mother and homemaker. She enjoyed reading, bowling, cooking and preparing meals for her family. She was a wonderful seamstress, sewing clothes for her children and a drapery maker. Lorraine graduated from Istrouma High School in 1932. They raised their four children, Karen Murphy (Thomas M.), Julie Dardenne (Stormy), Todd (Susan) and Kevin (Eran), 10 grandchildren, Michael Murphy, Michelle Murphy Jordan, Foster Murphy, Dawn Dardenne Guerin, Charles Dardenne, Kinnery Dardenne, Katelyn Talbot Strumolo, Kendall Talbot, Gavin Talbot and Jaidyn Walters and 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Jacqueline Fisher McHardy (Louis) and numerous nieces and nephews.Lorraine was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church and was a member of the Goodwood Homesites Rosary Group and bereavement committee. Visitation at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Thursday morning from 9:00 until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00, celebrated by Fr. Cleo Milano. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Serving as Pallbearers will be Charles Dardenne, Jr., Michael Murphy, Jacob Robison, Drew Jordan, Joseph Strumolo, and Jeremy Guerin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kinnery Dardenne, Don Fisher, Bill Fisher, and Roy Minckler. We would like to thank the wonderful people from the Fidelis home as well as St. Joseph's Carpenter House Hospice. In lew of flowers, please donate money to Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.
