Mary Thornton Obituary

Mary Dell Thornton passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at the age of 79. She was born January 5, 1941 in Woodville, MS. Ms. Thornton was the daughter of the late Rosetta Johnson. Mother of Linda Thornton, Mary Dent and the late Cherlynn Thornton. Sister of Phyllis, Cleveland, Eugene and Kirk Thornton. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. A Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at World of Faith Christian Center, 9160 Siegen Lane, Baton Rouge, LA at 11:00 a.m. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Minister Jackie Washington officiating.
