The LeBlanc Group also received Silver Rivet Design Excellence Awards in 2003 and 2005. The LeBlanc Group is an architectural firm owned by the LeBlanc family since 1957. Patrick, who served as the group's president had personally designed more than 25 prisons and correctional centers at sites in four states: Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi and Alabama. He was also president of the LeBlanc Construction Co. Inc., a general contracting firm that he established in 1984 to build commercial and residential projects. He was also president of LCS Corrections Services Inc., a privately-held prison management company founded in 1990 by the LeBlanc family. He was also involved in several other business ventures. He was elected in early 2008 to the Louisiana Republican Central Committee and the Lafayette Parish Republican Executive Committee. He will be remembered as not only a hard-working, dedicated community leader but also as a fun-loving companion to his family and friends. Always ready with a hearty laugh, he loved to tell of the adventures of his seven pet goats, who were constantly challenging the fences and gates of his property. He loved his five dogs as well and had a tender heart for all animals, and a true love for the outdoors. His loving wife of nine years, Jennifer, will always be grateful for the love and devotion Patrick showed to her children; treating them as his own. She will cherish for a lifetime the years she spent with such a wonderful man.
