Adelaide Adam "Addie" Fabre departed this life peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her residence on Thursday, April 29, 2021. Age 93 years a native of Lafitte, La. and a resident of Barataria, La for the past 73 years. Loving devoted wife of the late Alton S Fabre Sr. Devoted mother of Sidonia "Sissy" F. Dufrene, and the late Alton S. Fabre Jr. and Sidney L. Fabre Sr.
Mother-in-law of Chris J. Dufrene, Sr., Stacy Pizani Guidry, and the late Sheron F. Fabre. Daughter of the late Lawrence Joseph Adam and Scidonia A. Adam. Sister of the late William L Adam (Ruth). Devoted friend of Jeannie Wildey. Proud Grandmother of Norbert F. Fabre (Stacey), Yvette Fabre, Jason C. Fabre (Monica), Torylynn F. Greig (Jake), Jacob S. Fabre (Savannah), Sidney L Fabre, Jr. (Taren), Alton S. Fabre, III, (Phil), Myra F. Cancienne (Christian), Brandi L. Dufrene, and Chris J. Dufrene, Jr. She is also survived by 19 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, and other Relatives and Friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Catholic Church 2653 Jean Lafitte Blvd, Lafitte, La on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Church. Interment will follow at St. Pius X Cemetery, Crown Point, LA. Condolences may be share online at www.westsideleitzeagan.com. What a grand lady she was, I loved seeing her every time she came into the post office. The kindest and sweetest lady I ever encountered and always always a smile on her face. One of a kind!
