Adleen Bobbler Whittington, a native and resident of St. James, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, April 26, 2021 at the age of 85. Public Viewing on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the funeral home, 623 Railroad Avenue, Donaldsonville, from 10:00 a.m. until Services at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Mt. Calvary B.C. Cemetery in St. James. Masks must be worn at all times. Survived by her daughter, Veronica Scieneaux. Sons Melvin Whittington and Kenneth (Cheryl) Whittington. Sister, Joann (Paul) Mitchell, 18 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by by her parents, Joseph Bobbler and Daisy Mitchell. Husband, Tofield Whittington, Sr. Sons Tofield Whittington, Jr. and Reginald Whittington. Sister, Helen Nelson.
