Ben "Leon" Smith entered into eternal rest at his daughter's residence in Baton Rouge, LA on Saturday, October 5, 2019. He was a 68 year old native of Weyanoke, LA. Visitation at Little Star Freewill B.C., Zachary, Bishop Claude White, pastor, Friday, October 11 from 9 am until service at 11 am conducted by Rev. Olton Scott; interment at Fairdeal Cemetery. Survivors include his children,Vernon Keith Smith, Erica Williams, Nakita Onyedinma, Charletha Givens, Shanehta Gibson and Joshua Jamar Smith; step-daughter, Sherrie Johnson Smith; siblings, Betty Roundtree, Delores S. Porter, Shirley Williams, Gwendolyn DeBoise, Lisa S. Reed, Johnny and Linda A. Smith; grandchildren & great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Arrangements by Miller & Daughter Mortuary.
