Bette was a wonderful cousin and family historian.
She was my "Mississippi roots" connection and one
of my mother's favorite people. Our road trip to New Orleans with my wife and kids was the best.
She always made you feel good as a person. X marks the spot. She lived a wonderful life and we
should all be so lucky.
