Bobby Dean Crowell, a resident of Prairieville, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 at the age of 83. He was a Retired Veteran with 30 years of service in the US Marine Corps and a recipient of a Gold Star, Bronze Star and 3 Purple Hearts, as well as multiple other awards for his honorable service to our country. Semper Fi! He is survived by his wife, Juliet Lambert Crowell, two sons, Richard Crowell and Jerry Crowell (Anne, wife), a granddaughter, Amanda Williams, stepchildren, Glenda Lambert Badeaux (LJ, husband) Donald Lambert, Gail Lambert Fahey (Steve, husband) and their children. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Aretta Crowell, his beautiful daughter, Debra Crowell Williams, her mother Geneva, brothers Cecil, Bill and Ernie Crowell and sister, Joyce Rainey and daughter-in-law, Jeannette Lambert. Special thanks to his awesome support team: Charles "Wimpy" and Gloria Wiggins, Perry and Kathy Perck, Tammy and Juan Garcia, Bobbie Savoy and family, Carl McKnight, his Tuesday night Gospel Music group, Dr. Siva Yaldapati and his oncology team, Bobby with Lifesource, Landmark South SNF team, Dr. Jordan Brignac and team, Dr. Chris Turner and OLOL SEER nursing staff, Brooke, Zach, Maya, Patti, Richard and all others providing care during his brief stay. St. Joseph's Hospice: Elizabeth, Justina, Kelly, Kristin,Trygve and Danyelle. Although, his stay was short, you all provided so much comfort, support and the best level of care possible. You are all amazing, loved and appreciated beyond words. Thank you all for the prayers, and all of the kind gestures. Per his request, there will be no service or visitation, only happy memories!
