Bonnie Sue (Lambert) Johnson a native of Independence, LA and resident of Prairieville, LA passed away Friday, September 14, 2018 at the age of 72. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Missouri Lambert; granddaughter, Nicole Fowler; grandson, Christopher Fowler; 3 brothers and 4 sisters. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Joe Johnson, Sr.; 4 sons, Ken, David Sr., Steve (Nigina) and Joey Fowler; 1 step-son, Joe (Lauren) Johnson Jr.; 1 grandson, David (Misty) Fowler Jr.; 4 granddaughters, McKinsey & Hannah Fowler, Samantha & Natalie Johnson & 11 great-grandchildren; Numerous nieces & nephews and her special 4-legged dogs Lucy & JJ. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation which will be held Monday, September 17, 2018 at Ourso Funeral Home from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm followed by a Funeral service at 12:00 pm. The burial will immediately follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. We'd like to thank all the staff at Ollie Steele & Pinnacle for going above and beyond for Bonnie and her family.
