Although I had not seen Carla since college, I will always remember her as a kind, caring, and funny lady. Through junior and senior high school, I was blessed to call her "friend." My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

My sweet cherished friend. My heart is so broken upon hearing of the loss of your life. We didn’t keep close contact through the years but I thought of you so often. You were a very loyal friend. We had some good times that I will never forget like our trip to Disney world 46 years ago when Aaron and Obie were just toddlers. I already feel am emptiness in my heart. But one day we will meet up again and I can’t wait to make up for lost time. Love,
