"For you will go out with joy, and be led forth with peace; The mountains and hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands." Isaiah 55:12. Carolyn D. Keowen McKnight passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 10, 2018 at the age of 80. A true, southern lady with a captivating smile who touched so many lives with her love and kindness. A selfless and giving heart who was always ready to lend a hand or offer a word of encouragement or a hug to anyone. She was very proud to have served with the "Habitat for Humanity" in the Baton Rouge Area. Her tools were always ready and not afraid to show you how to use them. She was very proud to have served as a "Pink Lady" with the Baton Rouge General for 21 years receiving recognition for her many hours of volunteer service. She was a member of Blackwater United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, taught youth and children, and served where ever there was a need.
