Carolyn Lee Alford LeJeune, born 01/08/1943 and a native of Livonia, La and a resident of Gonzales, La passed away on January 5, 2021 at the age of 77. Carolyn retired from Our Lady of the Lake as a PBX switch board operator. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an avid reader, enjoyed listening to swamp pop music and spending time with her family. The funeral visitation will be held at Niland's Funeral Home in Livonia, La on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 9:00 am until 10:45 am. The Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Carolyn is survived by her children, Todd LeJeune (Shelley), Troy LeJeune (Lauri), Michelle and Patrick Richardson, Michael LeJeune, and Buddy; grandchildren, Lindsey and Ryan McCombie, Austin and Callie LeJeune, Jacelyn LeJeune, Bryson LeJeune, Courtney LeJeune, Connor Richardson, Landon Richardson; great-grandchildren, Carter McCombie and Pearl Marie McCombie; sister, Pam and Irish Pullen; nephew, Brandon Pullen. Preceded in death by her parents, Mable Rivet Alford and Henry Alford. Pallbearers will be Ryan McCombie, Austin LeJeune, Bryson LeJeune, Landon Richardson, Connor Richardson, and Patrick Richardson.

I met Carolyn in the mid 70's. We lived in the same apartment complex. Our children became friends and remain friends today. To the Lejeune family, our heartfelt condolences on the loss of a very special lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
