Cassie E. Dean entered into eternal rest at her residence in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. She was a native of Batchelor, Louisiana. Viewing at New Light B.C. on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 11-11:45 am; due to covid-19, a private service will be conducted by Pastor Gil Wright; interment at Port Hudson National Cemetery. Survivors include her children, Robert Payne (Beverly), Marlon Williams (Yolanda), Jason and Justin Franklin; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; preceded in death by her husband, George Dean; children, James Franklin and Elouise Powell; and her brother, Eddie Franklin; special thanks to her caregiver, Hazel Beauchamp.
