Catherine Elizabeth Koffman Louque passed suddenly at home on Wednesday, February 6th, 2019. She was 52 years old and though she was born in Flemington NJ she considered herself a Baton Rouge native. Cathy attended Lee High School and received her nursing degree from Calhoun College. Cathy is survived by her beloved children, Ryan Louque of Baton Rouge and Lindsey Louque of Huntsville AL; her cherished sisters Dana Koffman Parks of Houston, TX and Jennifer Koffman McBane (husband Matthew McBane) of Richmond, VA; her brother Andrew Koffman (wife Meggie Koffman); her cousins Ray Corona (wife Greta Corona) and Austin Corona of Baton Rouge; stepfather James Garner Moore of Baton Rouge; stepmother Becky Koffman of Fincastle, VA; and nieces and nephews: Chase Hyde, Colin Hyde, Caroline Parks, Catherine Parks, Conner McBane (wife Kait McBane), and Michael McBane. She is preceded in death and welcomed to heaven by her mother Marian Losey Moore of Baton Rouge and Richard Koffman of Fincastle, VA. Cathy was a fun-loving spirit with a wicked sense of humor. To be around her was to laugh until it hurt. She loved spending time with family and friends. If you knew Cathy, you knew how much she loved her children. Her sisters will dearly miss the laughter during their almost constant phone contact. She loved most of all going to the beach, fishing, and watching LSU football. A Baton Rouge girl to the core, she bled Purple & Gold and enjoyed walks around the lakes and Sammy's crawfish. The Baton Rouge community will miss her joyful spirit. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, February 9th at 2175 Myrtle Avenue from 4-6pm. A memorial service will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home at 825 Government Street on Sunday, February 10th at 11am. Online condolences can be offered at
