Catherine Harvin Tonguis, born in Lottie on March 9, 1927, went to heaven on April 10, 2018. Some people may say, ""How does anyone know whether they are going to heaven or not?"" We know this because God's word says in 1 John 5:13 ""These things I have written to you, who believe in the name of the son of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life!"" I'm sure the first thing Catherine did was thank her Savior Jesus Christ for dying on the cross for sinners like her and she then waved a hello to her husband E.J., who has been there since December 2006. Catherine was a bible school teacher for over sixty years and she always said, ""Live your life so that other people can see Jesus in everything you do and say."" A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Florida Blvd. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until service at 12:00 PM noon, officiated by Nick LeBlanc pastor of Central Bible Church. Catherine is survived by her only child Timothy Neal. Also by her four grandchildren Tori and husband Chad, Taren and husband Blaine, Taylor and wife Mandie, and Sydney, and her great grandchildren Andrew, Hailey, Layton, Jade, Annabelle, Benjamin, and Lyla.
