Catherine Honoré Ricard, a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Joseph W. and Lucille Duperon Honoré; her beloved companion of 60 years, Arthur J. Boyd; her sister, Mary Louise (McVea) Calvin, Jr.; brothers, Victor (Hazel) and Edwin Honoré, Sr.; sister-in-law, Martha Honoré; brother-in-law, Anthony Wiltz, Sr.; and son-in-law, William Davis. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted children Gary Honoré, Willie Earl (Shelia) Ricard, Jr., Pamela Davis, Lisa (Henry) Byrd, II., Karl (Nequita) Ricard, Karla F. (Rodney) Henry, David (Lisa) Honoré; stepchildren, Lydia and Rodney (Sabrina) Boyd; brother, Wilcus Honoré; sisters, Dorothy (Steven) Antoine, Bernadette Honoré and Carolyn Wiltz; sister-in-law, Roselyn Honoré and devoted friends, Yolanda Jackson and David Caruso. Also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and other family members and friends. The Sisters of Mercy, Carrington Place of Baton Rouge, associates and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church & International Shrine of St. Jude, 411 N. Rampart Street, New Orleans, LA on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Father Anthony Rigoli, officiating. Professional services entrusted to Heritage Funeral Directors.
