Today The Lord opened the doors to heaven to welcome Celina to his heavenly home. Celina Didier Jordan LeBlanc passed away July 11, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was a young 92 year old who lived life to the fullest. She loved God, family and friends. Celina was born in New Roads on June 4, 1926 to her parents Jake and Rosella Morel Didier with five sisters, Rosella Gebhart (JE Gebhart), Lelia Lanius (Jimmy Lanius), Joyce Horton (Paul Horton) and Mercedes McDaniel (Mack McDaniel); one brother, Anslem Didier (Eva Mae Didier). All have gone to rest. She was preceded in death by her first husband Arlin Lee "Jack" Jordan of which she has one son, Arlin Lee "Onnie" Jordan (Barbara Jordan); three girls, Betty June Jordan Labatut (Albert Labatut), Yvonne Jordan Cline (Jessie Cline) and Pat Jordan Gates. Celina was also preceded in death by her second husband of fifty years Edmond J. LeBlanc. He brought love and joy to his precious Celina. Grandchildren Mickie Cline, Tim Jordan, Todd Labatut, Scott Jordan, Jessica Ivey, Jamie McCan, John Heath Labatut, Jordan "Brandon" Labatut, Kristin Badeaux, Chandelle Labatut Rougeou, Kelley Gates Darby, Casey Gates Paeth and Richard Gates. Great grandchildren, Conner, Claire, Jordan, Bailey, IsaBella, Charlize, Braydon, Noah, Kayden, Jayla, Christopher, Lauren, Jordan, Mason, Brenna, Erin, Christian, Abbey, Peyton and Ryan. Celina enjoyed sports especially her LSU Tigers. She loved playing cards with her dear friends and visiting casinos. She loved life and everyone in the town of Morganza and our little town of New Roads. Special thanks to her sweet friend Bernice Maggio. Pallbearers will be Todd Labatut, Heath Labatut, Brandon Labatut, Tim Jordan, Hunter Rougeou, Richard Gates and Phil Darby. Honorary Pallbearers will be Donald LeBlanc, Jack LeBlanc, Cleveland LeBlanc, Albert Labatut, Gerald Guidry, Monsignor Robert Berggreen, Fr. Lee and Joe Beaud Jr. Visitation will be on Friday, July 13 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church in New Roads from 9:00 am until a Mass of Christian Burial in the church at 11:00 am. Entombment to follow in False River Memorial Park. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of St. Ann's and a member of the Adoration Chapel at St. Mary's in New Roads.
