Cheryl Watts Brown, "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, As long as I'm living my Mommy you'll be." A beloved mom and mawmaw, Cheryl Brown, 60, of French Settlement passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. She is survived by her mother, Helen Watts, husband "Bucky" Brown, daughter Kristy Poche and son-in-law Adam and their daughters Mackenzie and Laklyn, son Daniel Brown and grandpup Phoebe, son Jacob Brown, and brother Ricky Watts and sister-in-law Mary. She is preceded in death by her beloved father Richard "Sonny" Watts. Being a mawmaw was her greatest joy. She retired to spend more time with them, and she loved taking annual beach trips to see them playing in the sand. While our hearts are empty, we take peace in knowing she's no longer in pain and that she's having coffee in heaven with her dad. #WeLoveYouMore.

It saddened me reading the news about Cheryl. I have special childhood memories with Cheryl. I remember spending the Summertime as a child at Ms Evelle’s house with Cheryl there. We “cousins” had lots of fun hanging out with each other .
Sybil, Andrea, Cheryl and myself. I know she is resting in the arms of Jesus .
Sending love and hugs to Helen
