Clara Ann Campbell Edmonds departed this life on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at her residence in Thibodaux, LA. She was 82, and a native of Thibodaux, LA. Visiting on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Williams and Southall Funeral Home, 1204 Cleveland St. Thibodaux, LA from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Visiting on Saturday January 5, 2019 at Morning Star Baptist Church, Thibodaux, LA from 9:00am to Religious Services at 11:00am. Burial in Church Cemetery. Survived by 3 sons, Whitney Edmonds III, Nathaniel Edmonds (Deborah), and Rev. Norman Edmonds Sr. (Jeanie); 3 daughters, Ruby Short (Lynward), Stephanie Edmonds and Claudette Griffin (Gregory); 1 brother, John (Mary Ann) Campbell; Also, 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Whitney Edmonds Jr.; 1 daughter, Carolyn Knight; 3 sisters, Thelma Franklin, Ruby Brown, and Estelle Jones; 6 brothers, Willie, Joseph, Eddie, Henry, Raymond, and Curtis Campbell.
