A resident of Plaquemine, Dale Collins passed away Friday, Feb. 8, 2019 at age 55 at his home with his loving wife after a long battle with multiple health issues. His soul lifted up on angel's wings to be with our Heavenly Father. His always positive attitude will remain forever in our hearts. He loved to fish, hunt and talk with friends and family. He worked 20 plus years as a heavy equipment operator and professional tree serviceman He leaves behind his wife Lisa Delaney Fredericksen Collins; son Jeremy Fredericksen; grandson Gage; granddaughter Brooklynn; mother-in-law Bonnie Riles; brother-in-Law Camile Delaney; four brothers Jessie "Jay" Collins, James "Junior" Collins, Ronnie Collins , Marty Collins; three sisters Marjorie Nell Daigre, Amelia Webre, Evelyn "Tip" McCormick; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday February 16, 2019 5:00-10:00pm at Grosse Tete Baptist Church, 18285 La. Hwy 77, Grosse Tete, LA 70740. He is preceded in death by his parents James Collins Sr. and Angie Keller Romig, a sister Josephine Collins, brother Ervin Collins, father-in-law Bobo Delaney, stepfather-in-law Jessie Riles and favorite sister-in-law Dwana Delaney.
