A resident of Baton Rouge, David Price Jackson, "DJ", was called to heaven on July 9, 2018. David was born on Aug 14, 1978, in Baton Rouge and was currently working at Ash Construction, as an ironworker. David was a member of "Real Men's Group" at Encounter Church, where he also served in the church cafe, and was a member of Encounter's Outreach Team. David, a passionate tattoo artist, enjoyed cooking, fishing, and most of all he had a heart for children. It didn't matter the age, David loved and treated each child like his own. He is survived by his wife, Lindsey Jackson; his mother, Sherry Russell; his father, Johnny Jackson; his brothers, William Russell, Matthew Russell; sister in law, Brittany Russelll; also, survived by 3 nephews, Marcus, Jayse, and Sammy Russell. He is preceded in death by Rusty Russell (Stepfather), Bettie Culpepper (Grandmother), Terry Seals (Uncle), and Benjamin Billings (Stepbrother). David's life-changing journey will be celebrated this upcoming Thursday, July 19, 2018. The doors open at 6:00 p.m., and his service starts at 6:30 p.m. at Encounter Church located at 12112 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, 70815. 225.274.1607
