Diane Teresa Tridico Parker, age 68, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, lost her 40+ year battle with Multiple Sclerosis on January 7, 2019, surrounded by the love of her family. Diane was a very kind, loving, and generous spirit who touched the lives of everyone that had the privilege of knowing her and the lives of countless strangers through her charitable work. Diane was a member of the Woman of the Moose Lodge 1276, where she previously served as Senior Regent, and member of the Academy of Friendship with the Women of the Moose. Diane was well known in the Baton Rouge area quilting community and was a prior member of both the Giving Quilt (previously served on the board) and Stashbuilders Quilting Guild. Diane enjoyed celebrating Mardi Gras with the Nemesis Riders, and riding in Christmas parades with her husband. She was also a NASCAR fan and enjoyed cheering for her favorite driver, Jimmie Johnson. Diane graduated from Brusly High School as Valedictorian and was Senior Class President and enjoyed organizing her class reunions. Diane is survived by her daughter, Amy Sarradet; two sisters, Lorraine Keele (Frank) and Cathy Boudreaux (Samuel); brother, Anthony Tridico III (Felicia); mother-in-law, Maureen Parker; two step-daughters, Bridgett and Tracy, one step-son, Thomas Patrick; seven step-grandchildren and her 3 bonus Puckett grandchildren; along with the large extended Parker, Graham, and Tridico families. She is also survived by her loving dog "Pup". Special thanks to Diane's caregivers, Janet and Justin Garnett and the ICU and PCU nursing staff at OLOL. Diane was preceded in death, by her husband and the love of her life, Thomas (Tom) Parker; parents, Anthony Tridico Jr and Margie Graham Fontana; sister, Toni Tridico; and nephews, Frankie and Shane Keele. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd. on Thursday, January 10, 2019, from 5 PM until 8 PM and will resume Friday, January 11, 2019, at St. Joseph's Cathedral 401 Main Street, Baton Rouge from 9 AM – 10 AM with mass to follow.
