Donald "Donnie" J Catlett, 75, died Friday, September 10, 2021. He was born October 27, 1945, in Morganza, Louisiana. Donnie graduated from Morganza High School in 1963. Following graduation, he served in the Louisiana National Guard 1967-72, worked for Dow Chemical from 1968 – 2000 and was a lifelong LSU Baseball fan. Donnie is preceded in death by his parents, Elvin J Catlett, Sr and Wilma LeCoq Catlett, and siblings Barbara Olinde, Elvin "Red" Catlett, Jr, Faye Catlett and Terry Catlett. Donnie is survived by his wife of 54 years, Helen Vosburg Catlett of Morganza; sons, Jeremy Catlett & wife Coleen, Nicholas Catlett & wife Nicole and Mathew Catlett & wife Melisa as well as four grandchildren, Ellis Catlett, Sylvie Catlett, Francis Catlett & Archer Catlett. A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Morganza, Louisiana with reception to follow. A special thanks to the nurses and staff at Lakeview Manor & Pointe Coupee Hospice in New Roads, Louisiana for their care and kindness with Donnie and our entire family.

Sorry, for your lost. I remember going over to LHC2 to check on things some nights Don would be there running the control board. Always had a smile, such a great and friendly man. I'm working in TX and sorry I will be able to attend funeral.
