Services for Dorothy Jane Wertz Mitchell of Kilgore, Texas will be at held on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 2:00 P.M.in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Earl W. "Buddy" Duggins officiating. Graveside Services will follow in Kilgore City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Kilgore from 6-8:00 P.M. Thursday, October 17, 2019. Mrs. Mitchell passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, October 13, 2019 at the age of 88. Dorothy was born to Forest E. and Evelyn J. Wertz in Borger, Texas. Dorothy was the wife of the late Henry Edward Mitchell. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Terry Jane and Darrell Guidroz of Mandeville, Louisiana, Linda Kaye and Darrell Rabalais of Greenwell Springs, Louisiana. Three grandsons, Tanner A. Guidroz of New Orleans, Louisiana, Tate A. and wife Kelsey Guidroz of Ft. Worth, Texas, Grant M. and wife Kori Rabalais of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Granddaughter Maggie and husband Matt Raborn, their children Avery Jane and Nolan Lee Raborn of Zachary, Louisiana. Sisters-in-law, Letha Maxine Goolsby of Bossier City, Louisiana and Jimmie Lou Jackson of Joinerville, Texas. The sister she never had, Betty Renshaw, nieces and nephews and many dear friends that were dear to her heart.
