Ellen Dugas Landry, 78, a native of Belle Rose and resident of Paincourtville, LA, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Ellen was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, working in her yard, shopping, and traveling. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Napoleonville where she loved her church family. She leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters, Roslyn Landry Grigsby (Dean) and Leslie Landry Hendricks (Paul); two grandchildren, Lexie Grigsby Walker (Josh) and Corey Grigsby; two great-grandchildren, Jack and Nate Walker and her two sisters, Carol Ann "Noonie" Traigle and Jackie Becnel. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eno and Evelyn Dugas. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Napoleonville led by Rev. Dean Grigsby and Pastor Chuck Chiasson. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church at P.O. Box 548, Napoleonville, LA 70390 or Richard Murphy Hospice House located at 1109 S. Chestnut Street in Hammond, LA 70403.
