Ellen Hayes Stevenson was born on March 25, 1922 to the late Johanna H. Butler and Thomas Hayes. She accepted Christ as her personal savior and was baptized on August 22, 1932 and remained a faithful servant of Christ until God called her home on March 25, 2021 at 1:11 pm, on the day of her 99th birthday. Left to cherish precious memories are three daughters, Gloria D. Porche (Charles), Mildred D. Stevenson and Maxine E. Stevenson. One son, Houston Stevenson Jr. (Janice). Six grandchildren, Tammy R. Stevenson, Ronda R. Stevenson Berry (Fred), Jennifer C. Porche, Houston Stevenson III, Adrian Stevenson (Sakawry), and Kontonia Stevenson Osho (Olulaja). Eleven great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Houston Stevenson Sr., her mother and father, one daughter, two sons, four brothers and one granddaughter.
