MILLER, ELSIE HEMPHILL A resident of Baton Rouge, she died Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 7, 2004, at Golden Age Nursing Home, Denham Springs. She was 97 and a native of Mississippi. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 8 a.m. Thursday. Religious service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Thursday. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Elsie Rhea Rodney, Phoenix, and Mozelle Browning and Myrna and Sitman Jolissaint, all of Baton Rouge; a sister, Ruby Lee Delanoix, Denham Springs; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilhelm Miller; parents, three sisters and a brother. Family members will serve as pallbearers. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church.
