Elsie M. Martin, a resident of Grand Point, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the age of 91. Elsie was a member of the Catholic Daughters and the St. Joseph Altar Society. She also volunteered much of her time working at St. Vincent De Paul. She was a kind, loving soul devoted to her Catholic faith, family, and friends. She loved life but mostly loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Milton Jr. (Donna), Kenny (Cindy), Mary Ann Marse (Nolan), Danny (Sherry) and Wendy Duhe (William); 11 grandchildren, Jeremy, Lindsey, Mallori, Brittnay, Danielle, Kasi, Alex, Nicole, Nicolas, Dylan and Kati; 15 great-grandchildren and 1 soon to be born; twin brothers, Rene "T-White" and Raymond "T-Black"; and her twin sister, Ethel Pollet. She is preceded in death by her husband, Milton Martin Sr.; parents, Rene and Fidelise Millet; and brother, Larry Millet. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Rose Lynn Funeral Services from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Garden of Angels Prayer Garden, located at 19821 Tammy Lane, Gramercy, LA (SPC school grounds) would be appreciated. Rose Lynn Funeral Services has been entrusted with handling her services.
