Ernest James Armond, age 86, born March 20, 1934, in Denham Springs, Louisiana, passed away on January 19, 2021, at 10:30 pm from cardiac arrest surrounded by his wife of 67 years, Kathleen Ficklin Armond and children. He graduated from Denham Springs High School and served his country four years in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Proceeded in death by his parents, Clifton Peter Armond and Lula Mary Smith Armond, siblings Gladys Sanders (Marion), Ledell Perkins (Bill), Hubert Armond (Lula), Aaron Armond (Laverne) and Barbara Ann, and granddaughter, Nicole Renee Hall. Survived by his wife, Kathleen, children Linda Hall, Vickie Madison and Mark Armond (Sofia), grandchildren Grant Hall, Ross Hall (Britney), Marquette Armond, Ashlee Klemm(Anthony) and Stephanie Armond, great grand children Emma Kate, Avery and Yale Klemm and Ryder, Scarlett and Oakley Hall, sisters Pat Wallner (Bob) and Edith Gath,and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services at Green Oaks Funeral Home on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 2:00 PM with interment immediately following in Green Oaks Memorial Park. Visitation will take place at 12:00pm in the Green Oaks Funeral Home chapel. Covid guidelines will be followed including you must wear a mask.
