Esther Lee, affectionately known as "Momo" and "Ms. Lee", was born on December 3, 1939 to the late Jesse Gillard and Olevia Semino Gillard in Rosedale, LA. While in the comfort of her home and surrounded by her family, Esther Lee departed her earthly life on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the age of 81. Visitation will be at Hall Davis and Sons Funeral Home in Port Allen, LA on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 4-6 p.m. Private funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021. She leaves to cherish her memory: daughters, Gwendolyn Gillard, Leona (Mark Sr.) Davis, Cathy Weber (Leroy), Jacqueline (Joseph) Shields, and Veronica Washington (Keith); sons, Raymond (Eloise) Gillard and Lloyd Weber Sr. (fiancé Richelle Gross); a very special niece whom she loved as her own, Wanda Lee Colocke; sisters, Dorothy Williams and Mary Tuckerson; 22 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren. Esther Lee was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Olevia Gillard; 9 sisters, 3 brothers, and 2 grandchildren.
